Hey there! Welcome to The Spirit Traveler, a photo blog for intrepid travelers, meditators, lovers and dreamers. Here you will find articles and posts about some of my favorite things – road trips and traveling abroad, photography, meditation and the dharma, running, eating healthy, making art and living well. The posts are mostly from me, but I have a stellar group of contributors and guest writers that add their own flavor to the subjects I love. I really hope you enjoy your stay here!

On each travel post, you will find a list on the sidebar that includes as much relevant information as I could find about that specific location. I try to find information about meditation centers, hot springs or bath houses, RV parks, tent camping, farmers markets, labyrinths, gluten free bakeries, running spots, Starbucks locations (for their consistent and familiar foods and services), medical centers, and nearby State and National Parks. Just like finding beauty everywhere, I feel that each place I visit is special in its own way, even though at first glance it might seem like there is nothing to see (hey there, Fremont!). Sometimes it’s all about the history. Even the smallest and most industrial towns has a story. It is my hobby to find that story.
